“When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.”
Rumi

My heart is still full from our Spring Retreat — where eight courageous women gave themselves the gift of presence. Together, we unleashed dreams that had been quietly waiting and began remembering what it feels like to be the muse of our own lives — living from a place of Intention, Expression, Vision, and Inspiration.
When I was creating the retreat, I knew that Inspiration would be the third seed I wanted us — as a community — to plant this Spring.
In September, we planted the first seed: Maitri — becoming our own best friend, embracing ourselves with love, patience, and kindness.
In October, we nurtured the second seed — Forgiveness — and that one has truly moved so much within myself and our community. Forgiveness softened old hurts, dissolved emotional weight, and opened our hearts wide.
As part of my own grieving process after losing my brother, I noticed an edge in myself — anger bubbling up in my veins, like a volcano exploding out of nothing. Forgiveness helped me soften into that space, to hold it with compassion instead of resistance, and to transform it into acceptance and understanding.
Now, with our inner landscape a little clearer and lighter — it’s a beautiful time to plant the next seed of Spring…
This month of November, we are planting the seed of Inspiration — the energy that rises naturally when the heart is free. It’s that subtle, sacred current that lifts us, aligns us, and moves us toward what makes us feel alive and our life meaningful.
Motivation vs. Inspiration
With so much of personal development focused on keeping us motivated (and then often leaving us disheartened), I’ve realised there’s a subtle but profound difference between being motivated and being inspired — one pushes from the mind, the other pulls from the soul.
Motivation often comes from the outside — a goal, a deadline, or a need to achieve. It can push us forward, but it rarely sustains us.
Inspiration, on the other hand, arises from within. It’s the gentle whisper of the soul that says, “this feels right.” It doesn’t push — it pulls. It doesn’t drain — it expands.
Wayne Dyer describes it beautifully in his book Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling. He reminds us that when we are inspired, we are in-Spirit — connected to something greater than ourselves. In that state, life feels in flow, purposeful, and beautifully synchronised.
When you’re inspired, you don’t need to chase. You simply follow the thread that feels alive.

Design Your Dream Life, One Day at a Time
This was one of my favourite moments from our Seeds of Intentions Retreat — the embodiment practice of crafting our Dream Day.
Instead of chasing goals, we connected with how we want to feel, and the values we want to embody as we bring our gifts into the world.
Our Dream Day isn’t about being in the Maldives, driving a Ferrari, or sipping a piña colada by the pool.
It’s about how we show up in our everyday life — with presence, gratitude, and alignment — without needing to change the content of our day. It’s not about escaping life, but about embodying it differently.
So take a moment to reflect —
What lights you up?
What makes you feel at home in yourself?
Write down the three feelings you most want to embody in this new season. Let them become your guiding stars as you create your dream life.
Now, take a deep, slow breath.
Close your eyes and imagine your Dream Day — a day where everything flows with ease and alignment, guided by your intention, expression, vision, and inspiration.
Then, let your pen dance freely across the page and explore these activations:
- If I knew I couldn’t fail…
- If I wasn’t afraid of what people might think…
- If time and money were no object…
- If I followed only my inner wisdom…
- If I knew the Universe was always looking out for me…
Let these words become your bridge —
and walk across it into the life you’re ready to live.
A life filled with the feelings you’ve chosen to nurture.
Allow your vision to unfold gently and joyfully — one inspired day at a time.

Ikigai — A Life of Meaning and Alignment
In Japan, there’s a beautiful concept for life: Ikigai, which means “a reason for being.”
It’s one of the secrets of the Blue Zones — those places in the world where longevity isn’t a luxury, but a natural way of life.
Ikigai is the sweet spot where what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can offer all meet.
Living from your Ikigai brings a sense of aliveness and meaning. It’s not about doing more — it’s about doing what matters. When we live aligned with our truth, we wake up with a reason — not just to exist, but to create, serve, and love.
This month, let’s allow inspiration to be the bridge that connects our inner purpose with our outer actions — to live each day as an authentic expression of who we truly are.
In Our Practice this Month
“Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.”
Pablo Picasso
Our Dru Yoga practice this month will be a journey to purify old energy and awaken new inspiration.
We’ll begin with Activations to release what’s heavy, awaken the spine, and invite fresh Prana.
We’ll flow through EBR6 — Opening to the Cosmic Spiral, one of my favourite sequences to connect with a life of purpose and realise our deepest intentions.
We’ll gently work through the shoulders (where we carry the world), the neck (where we hold stress), the jaw (where we store fight and flight), and the eyes (to soften our gaze and open our vision).
Our key posture this month will be Gomukhasana — Cow Face Pose, to strengthen postural muscles, open the heart, and invite us to soften into an inspired life.
And of course, we’ll finish with a beautiful deep relaxation, letting inspiration settle into every cell.

“A woman in alignment is an unstoppable creative force. She becomes her own muse, her own light.”
Rebecca Campbell
November Activations
- What inspires me right now — and how can I nurture more of that?
- What would an “inspired day” look and feel like for me?
- Where do I feel most aligned with my Ikigai — my reason for being?
- What am I being called to create or express next?
My wish for you this November is that you remember that inspiration is your natural state. It’s not something you need to find out there, but something you can nurture within.
When we soften into our truth, life itself becomes the muse.
Namaste
