Remembering Trust

The Soft Strength Within

Your heart knows the way. Run in that direction.”
Rumi

We’ve just returned from our Autumn Retreat, and my heart is so full. The experience was absolutely magical. Myrtleford was glowing with Autumn light, Minette and all the team at Panoramia Villas held us beautifully, and every single detail—Aliza’s nourishing food, the weather, the energy—felt like a divine orchestration for the soul.

Together, we laughed (a lot!), cried, moved, breathed, and remembered what it means to feel light, free, and fully present.

Here are a few reminders we carried home:

  • Play keeps us young at heart and reminds us not to take life too seriously.
  • Forgiveness is one of the most powerful energies we can bring into our lives—and into the world.
  • Feeling our emotions is a gift. The more we allow them, the more connected we become—with ourselves and each other.
  • Life is better when shared with people who get us—when we’re surrounded by those who meet us at the same frequency.

The retreat continues as a 6-week journey to integrate this lightness and presence into our daily lives. And in June, we’ll gather for a final Celebration Session—because transformation is sweeter when shared.

Welcoming May!

As we step into May, it feels like we’re entering a tender threshold—one that asks for less doing and more being. And when I look back on the year so far, I see how each month has been quietly preparing us for this moment.

In January, we grounded ourselves in the power of Morning Rituals, choosing to start the year with intention instead of urgency. We learned that how we begin our day shapes how we meet life. Then came February, with the energy of the Wood Snake—a call to shed old skins, to soften, and to start trusting the whispers of our intuition. March brought its own rhythm, showing us the sacred dance between Expansion and Contraction. We learned to honour both the exhale and the inhale of life, and to recognise that growth isn’t always about moving forward—sometimes, it’s about pausing.

In April, we explored Resistance not as something to fight, but as a signal. A place that invites us to move beyond comfort and into our potential.

And now in May, as Autumn deepens and we see the leaves falling more, we arrive to the heart of this month’s intention: Remembering Trust.

The Five Dimensions of Trust

We are always in relationship—with our body, our breath, our beliefs, others, and the greater flow of life. And in every relationship, there is one ingredient that makes it thrive: Trust.

When trust is present, relationships deepen. They become softer, stronger, and more honest.

When trust is missing, even the most well-intentioned connection can feel fragile.

So what happens when we bring that same trust inward?

  • Trust in your body strengthens your relationship with your health.
  • Trust in your inner knowing deepens your connection with your truth.
  • Trust in the unknown softens your relationship with change.
  • Trust in others nourishes your experience of connection and belonging.
  • Trust in life transforms your relationship with our existence.

Every time you choose Trust, you choose to relate differently—with openness, grace, and courage.

Trust in your Body

Key Intention: I feel safe and supported in my body.
Affirmation: I trust my body’s intelligence

When we live in our minds, we often disconnect from the very place that holds our deepest wisdom—our body. This layer of trust invites us to return to the body as a sacred friend. To feel the ground beneath our feet and remember: I am held.

Your body knows. It remembers your truth long after your mind forgets it. When you begin to trust its signals, its strength, its intuition—even its discomfort—a new kind of safety emerges.

Illness, pain, fatigue—they’re not signs that something is wrong. They’re messages. And when we trust those messages, we realign, rest, and support our body in returning to balance.

What if you trusted your body’s wisdom? How would it feel to move with it, not against it?

Trust in your Centre

Key Intention: I stand in alignment with my truth.
Affirmation: I trust my inner compass.

Your centre is more than your core—it’s the home of your discernment, direction, and quiet knowing. It’s the voice that says: This is right for me, even when it doesn’t make sense on paper.

You might imagine it as a golden chair at the centre of your heart—a peaceful seat where your inner teacher resides. This is the one who listens, witnesses, and gently reminds you who you are when the world gets loud. It doesn’t shout. It waits. Glowing softly, always available for guidance.

When you trust your centre, you move from essence instead of expectations. You respond instead of react. And you begin to live in alignment—with integrity and ease.

What would shift if you stood tall in your own knowing? If you let your inner compass guide you, every single time?

Trust in the Unknown

Key Intention: I release control and open to possibility.
Affirmation: I trust life, even when I don’t have all the answers.

This may be the most courageous form of trust—the kind that emerges in the dark, when clarity hasn’t yet arrived. When you don’t know the next step, but you’re willing to keep showing up anyway.

To trust the unknown is to soften your grip. To stop forcing or resisting. To listen. To let life surprise you. In that space, the most beautiful things can blossom—ideas, insights, healing, versions of you that only arise when you stop trying to control the timeline.

If you truly trusted that life was unfolding for you… how much lighter would your days feel?

Trust in Connection - To Self and Others

Key Intention: I am open to giving and receiving trust.
Affirmation: I am safe to trust and open my heart.

At the heart of all relationships—especially the one with yourself—is trust.

When trust has been broken, we often armour up. But healing happens when we choose to reopen, slowly, with discernment and compassion. To remember that we're not meant to walk alone.

To trust is to say: I believe in the goodness in me. And I’m willing to see it in you, too.

How would it feel to meet yourself with unshakable trust? To believe that at our core, we’re all trying to love and be loved?

Trust in the Universe, God and Life Itself

Key Intention: I am held by something greater than me.
Affirmation: I trust that I am always in the right place at the right time.

There’s a quiet, golden kind of peace that comes from remembering you’re not doing this alone. That something greater—call it God, Spirit, the Universe—is walking beside you, all the time.

This kind of trust isn’t about blind optimism. It’s about sensing the intelligence of life, the divine timing, the way things unfold in ways we never could have planned.

It’s the feeling of looking up at the stars and knowing: I belong.

It’s saying thank you even when you don’t yet see the blessing.

It’s letting yourself be carried, knowing the current has wisdom.

If you knew, with your whole being, that the Universe always had your back… how would you move through today?

An Invitation from the Heart

Whether you're navigating change, seeking steadiness, or simply longing to feel more grounded—this intention will meet you where you are.

Come to your mat as you are. Let your breath lead. Let your heart soften. And let Trust become something you feel—not something you have to earn.

Because even when we don’t know the full path...

We can trust the next breath.
The next step.
The next yes.

If this intention is stirring something within you, I’d love to welcome you in our Dru Yoga Classes this month. And if you’re ready to go deeper, Inner Circle 4 of the Consciousness Mentoring Program begins on May 22.

It’s a powerful 6-month experience to help you release old patterns, align with your truth, and create a life that reflects who you really are. Reach out if your heart feels the pull—it would be an honour to walk beside you.
